After leaving the institutional real estate space, he affiliated with a large, co-living platform with aspirations to IPO. This was a startup environment, and amid the pandemic faced various headwinds which prompted our client to transition back into a mainstream real estate investment and development shop. As a result, he retained us to search nationally for positions located on the east coast, preferable in New York City.

Ultimately, he accepted a position as CEO of a closely held, private retail and mixed-use development company based in Southern California that was launching a multifamily investment and development platform backed by institutional capital. As he wished, the position was based in New York.
