Sutton Turner

Sutton Turner leads 20/20 Foresight’s global practice. He brings 30 years of business experience leading five different businesses across three different countries as CEO (United States, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi). With his experience as CEO, Sutton has hired all executive level positions for many fast-growing companies in the Middle East. Under Sutton’s leadership, 2020 Foresight is expanding its executive search practice around the world. 2020 Foresight’s first global office is in Dubai, UAE to service real estate and development companies in the GCC and MENA region.

With his experience, Sutton has developed a deep appreciation for healthy organizations. Sutton is now devoting his efforts to helping improve organizational health through a 4-step development program that can be completed virtually. Over a series of months, he assists in the implementation and coaching towards greater organizational health.

In 2008, Sutton served as the founding CEO of Khidmah (“service” in Arabic), currently the largest services management company in the UAE with over 1,000 employees. As CEO, Sutton created the first full service real estate management company in Abu Dhabi, UAE with $600M in assets and $1.8B under development. A critical element to Khidmah’s success was the establishment of a direct pipeline for recruiting skilled workers and professionals from Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Egypt, and Syria.

In 2010, Sutton led Waseef, LLC in Doha, Qatar. This subsidiary of Barwa leads Qatar 2030 on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani – The Emir. As CEO of Waseef, he reorganized the company which had no business plan, model, organization, processes, and operating systems. In the first 90 days, he completed the strategic business plan, 5-year budget, and organizational structure.

In 1998, Sutton co-founded the Wentwood Companies with his brother and served for 10 years as a managing partner, providing services across 10 states and 36 locations. Today, Wentwood manages a portfolio of institutional real estate funds that have been capitalized more than $9 billion.

Sutton holds master’s degrees from Southern Methodist University (MBA), Harvard Business School (OPM), and Texas A&M University (MS). He also obtained his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University (BS).
